Disintegrator Division

The Aerosion Ltd. Disintegrator is a patent pending device for reducing friable materials to fine powders. Reduction is accomplished by launching pieces of material to be disintegrated at a closing target with sufficient velocity to cause the material to break up. The apparatus design provides very high closing velocities, thereby producing very small particles. In most applications fine particles are drawn off the Disintegrator and further processed in a standard classifier. Over size materials from the classifier is recycled through the Disintegrator to be reduced to on spec product.

Solids/Liquid Separation Division

Aerosion Ltd. manufactures and maintains a patented device for separating solid from liquids. The equipment is in use in the heavy oil fields of Alberta to separate oil from sand produced in drilling SAGD wells. Oil is recovered and the sand is cleaned sufficiently to allow its disposal on the drilling lease.
