To ensure an optimum and thorough solution, there are a number of factors that may be considered: 1. Material Properties: Not all materials are created equal. Density, fracture toughness and the size distribution of your material can impact throughput, power consumption and selection of proper wear parts. 2. Top Size of Your Material: Feed to our Disintegrator must be 100% minus 6 millimetres. If your material has a larger top size an efficient crushing system can be specified to match. 3. Required Reduction Ratio: Your size reduction requirement is important. Reduction ratio is the ratio of feed size to your required product size. The higher the reduction ratio, the greater the unit power requirement and for a given model, the lower the throughput. 4. Moisture Content of Feed: Our process requires free flowing material. While every material is different, and may require testing, a rule of thumb is that the feed to the disintegrator should be 6% or less moisture content. 5. Availability of Power: If power is not available, our units can come with diesel-fueled gen-sets to power the entire system. 6. Ambient Conditions: The setting of your system is important. Extreme heat or cold, humidity and altitude can affect the performance of our systems technology and its supporting ancillary systems.
